I discovered that I completely forgot to post pictures of Starlight in 2013 from 12/10 through 12/24, so here's the pictures and a quick synopsis of events.

On 12/10/13 Starlight was hugging the Snowglobe.

12/11/13 saw her hiding out on the bathroom sink playing in the make-up bag.

12/12/13 she found some Lego's to play with. Looks like she made her own Christmas Tree.

Totally missed taking pictures of her Adventures on 12/13/13

On 12/14/13 she was found reading to Pandy, Winnie & Cashmere.

12/15/13 I guess she thought she could ride Brownie the Pony back to the North Pole. Sorry Starlight that's NOT a Reindeer! 

12/16/13 Itwas time for her to take a shower. They found her all wrapped up sitting in the shower.

She was just swinging around in the kitchen on 12/17/13 (this swing is still hanging in the kitchen -- kids thought she may need it again this year).

On 12/18/13 she found an old mirror that I had put up & decided to write a message to the kids on it.

She found herself in need of a drink of milk on 12/19/13

On 12/20/13 she decided to watch over Cailyn & hang out on her head board. 

ON 12/21/13 she was found hanging out with a picture of their older sisters Cindy & Autumn) when they were younger. 

On 12/22/13 we found Starlight holding on to my Snowmen.

We missed getting a picture on 12/23/13

But, on 12/24/13 she dropped by that morning to leave the kids a special key, so that Santa could still get in that night. She also left the kids a note telling them that Santa was lifting the Magic just for that day so that they could each hug her & tell her goodbye. When they weren't looking she disappeared.

Starlight's Visit Day 9

So, today is our very first Snow Day (no school), so Cailyn & Casey had a sleepover last night. I guess Starlight decided it was a good time to use Cailyn's tennis shoe as a sleigh. I just hope she doesn't smell like Cailyn's stinky feet tonight as she's flying home to the North Pole. The other Scout Elves may not appreciate the stink. :)

Starlight's Visit Day 8

Chayton has decided that Starlight was super cold this morning & decided to make herself all warm & cozy......under the sink. She is using a tea towel for a bed & cover & a dish rag for a pillow. Poor Starlight! I told her she could have found somewhere else better than under the sink to sleep. Chayton decided she was under the sink, because like him, she just wants to be left alone at time & today is the day for her. So, she is sleeping peacefully under the bathroom sink! 

Starlight's Visit Day 7

Cailyn accidentally touched Starlight yesterday. She cried & cried & cried & cried. Took me forever to convince her that Starlight would be okay & wouldn't lose her magic. I had to tell her that when you accidentally touch them they don't lose their magic, it's only when you touch them on purpose that their magic is lost. Took a long time to convince her of it. We thought we had her calmed down & okay with it, only to walk into her room about an hour later to find her lying on her bed, crying because of it. So, she was very excited the next morning to wake up & find Starlight gazing lovingly at her baby picture. We told her that it was Starlight's way of saying that it was okay & she was fine.

Starlight's Visit Day 6

I must say that even I am a bit scared!! Barbie looks a bit deranged here. I believe she just may be paying Starlight back for the day she hung out with Ken in her car. I don't think I'd be messing with Barbie!

Starlight's Visit Day 5

Today, Starlight decided to hang out above our heads & make it difficult for the kids to find her. Honestly, they NEVER looked up until I told them to. She kept watch over all who entered that day!

Starlight's Visit Day 4

It took the kids a bit longer to find Miss Starlight this morning. She was hanging out on the surround sound speaker behind the aloe plant. I think she was trying to remind me that it needed to be watered. She was right, it did!

Starlight's Visit Day 3

I do believe that Starlight is fixing to get herself into some trouble. She held onto Ken ALL day long driving around in BARBIE'S car. I'm not sure that Barbie is going to handle this very well. I guess we shall see.

Starlight's Visit Day 2

So, the kids awoke rather quickly this morning & immediately started searching for Starlight. It was a rather quick search this morning. They found her lying on the floor in the corner by the bookshelf, coloring in a Christmas Coloring Book.  

A Visitor Arrives

We watched the show on Friday night about The Elf on the Shelf, then we sat down & watched Dreamworks Christmas shows. We had a good family night. I had Cailyn go to my room & get me my phone & a cup from my computer desk & she found that we had a visitor. Little Bugger set herself up on my laptop & wrote them a note & included a link to the Elf on the Shelf Story on youtube. They named her Starlight (because it was the starlight that led the Wise Men to the stable in Bethlehem when Jesus was born.
